Abstract writing guidelines

  • A maximum of two abstracts per author/group is allowed for oral presentations.
  • Include a clear study design.
  • Emphasize clinical relevance (e.g., number needed to treat, minimal clinically important difference), not just statistical results.
  • Peer review applies to all submissions.
  • Abstracts must be anonymous — no author names, institutions, or countries.
  • Product and brand names are not permitted.
  • Use only standard abbreviations without explanation; define others at first use.
  • Do not split results from one study across multiple abstracts.
  • Avoid references where possible.
